Job Title: Project Manager

Organization: European Movement in Serbia

About Us: The European Movement in Serbia (EMinS), as one of the oldest civil society organizations in Serbia, dedicates its mission and professional capacities to the strategic work in advocating for European values and for the reforms stipulated by EU Stabilization and Association Agreement, as well as improving the European integration process of Serbia.

Job Summary:  The Project Manager is responsible for designing, organizing, managing and daily implementation of EMinS’ projects, setting and operationalizing time schedules for pertinent activities, as well as identifying unforeseen risks, and reporting on progress.

Job description:

  1. Designing and organizing activities, time schedules and project resources,
  2. Operationalization of project activities and identification of potential risks,
  3. Daily implementation and project management,
  4. Project team coordination
  5. Communication with project participants and external partners,
  6. Preparation and management of project budgets, monitoring expenditures of project activities in accordance with planned budget,
  7. Taking care of success and quality of work, and reporting on the implementation of project activities,
  8. Coordination with the finance department in the preparation of financial reports by project
  9. Taking care of the validity of the documentation necessary for reporting on projects,
  10. Supporting EMinS management in strategic planning and coordination with external partners and donors,
  11. Participation in meetings, conferences, public/media events for the needs of the European movement in Serbia,
  12. Coordination with other ongoing activities and teams of EMinS,
  13. He/she is responsible to the Secretary General of EMinS.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  1. University diploma in economics, management, or related fields (minimum VII1 according to the old study system).
  2. 5 years of experience and knowledge in management and implementation of projects, at least 3 years of experience in the implementation of projects financed by foreign donors, especially the EU.
  3. Excellent strategic planning, communication, and networking skills.
  4. Effective organizational and leadership skills.
  5. Ability to work independently and in a team.
  6. Ability to manage risks and adapt to unplanned situations.
  7. Ability to work with programs that are part of the Microsoft Office package.
  8. Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English (level C1).
  9. Possession of a driver’s license.
