The Importance of European Integration for Serbia
Sombor, 3rd August, 2004.
On August 3rd 2004 , European Movement in Serbia and its Local Council in establishment organized public discussion in Sombor. The discussion named "The importance of European integration for Serbia" was held in the Serbian reading-room "Laza Kostic" where introductory speeches were held by Mr. Danijel Pantiæ, Secretary General of the European Movement in Serbia and Mr. Aleksandar Gatalica , president of the Forum for culture of EMinS. The discussion was aimed at, besides constructive exchange of ideas, EMinS European integration projects' presentation. In the aftermath, the guests from the European Movement in Serbia answered to the questions, mainly directed to the actual benefits EU membership would bring to the citizens and the country as a whole.
