| Report from the meeting held
on 27th June in Hotel Inter Continental in Belgrade
The meeting between youth NGOs and political parties youth representatives and representatives of EU member countries embassies, associated countries of Japan, Canada, Israel and Australia was opened by the Ambassador of Portugal his Excellency Antonio Tanger Correa. The gathering topics which were discussed were: "Proposals for the future cooperation in the region"; "Aid from member countries of EU" as well as advises and eventual support from the EU country members representatives. Official part of the meeting was opened with a short presentation of each youth NGO and political party youth representative and their proposals for cooperation and future activities. Ambassadors opened the discussion with concrete questions for all participants. The main subject was "Integration of Serbia into EU" and creating an open society, international contacts and cooperation, potential investing in the region and maintaining the "Third sector" after the adoption of the Law for terrorism. Mrs. Jelica Minic, Secretary General of EMinS presented statistic data concerning the elections which were the basis for further concrete suggestions for the following elections. The meeting lasted for three hours and had as a result a lot of good ideas, useful suggestions and proposals for the future cooperation. The meetings conclusion was : Creating international bridges for cooperation and relations that intend to be fruitful in the future considering the fact that country members of the EU have for partners young people in Serbia.
