Cultural Forum
Cultural Forum , the youngest forum of EMinS, was founded in 2003 as a product of belief that culture was not only entertainment and fun of an individual but also something whose policies could be regarded as a spectrum of potential pro-European activities of EMinS beginning from improvement of image of the EU in Serbia and Montenegro and going as far as to implementation of European ideas in attitudes of the youngest generations.
From its very foundation, the Forum became a part of the Celebration of Europe Day 2003 by participating in commissions for artistic and literary work having a topic " Serbia in Europe ". Last year awarded students showed a real hunger for European initiatives coming from EMinS, so there were more than thousands participant in the competition this year.
Encouraged by this kind of reactions, the Forum, together with juvenility and student theater bands, began in September the action "In Europe from." in which three theater troops were presented till now: from Zrenjanin, Cacak, and Jagodina.
In the same time, the Cultural Forum has begun, together with Friedrich Elbert Foundation, preparations for round table CULTURAL IDENTITY AS A CAPITAL OF TRANSITION and determined a circle of eminent students among whom are Svetlana Velmar Jankovic, Leon Koen, Ljubisa Rajic, Milena Dragicevic Sesic, and then directors of libraries, public institutions, and university professors.
The Cultural Forum has also begun preparations for awarding the literary prize " Europe " as well as for cooperation with Delphi Committee from Vienna .
- OBJECTIVE of the Forum is to, by cooperating with different categories of population, promote, embed, and explain the idea of European integrations being in our environment still responsive to prejudices and machinations of opposers of European integration.
- IDEA of the Forum is to create conditions for absolute recognition of Serbia and Montenegro as European states and vice versa, absolute recognition of Europe as our natural cultural environment with related cultural and civilization objectives and achievements.
