Building Transparent and Accountable System of Public Procurement in Municipalities of Serbia (TASPP)

This project of the European Movement in Serbia aims to increase the transparency of budgeting and public procurement and to introduce European standards in Serbian municipalities. The project, officially initiated by the international conference "Fighting corruption - the anti-corruption pillars and local government reform", involves 29 Serbian municipalities, and its implementation is organized on the basis of the regional principle.

  • Towards the end of 2002, the Internet system for managing municipal public procurement will be finished establishing a network of municipalities, which will ensure a greater transparency of the procedure of public procurement and a significant reduction of expenses.
The municipalities participating in the project are: Aleksandrovac, Apatin, Čukarica, Dimitrovgrad, Grock?, Kikinda, Kovin, ?ragujevac, ?raljevo, ?ruševac, Leskovac, ?ajdanpek, ?ladenovac, Negotin, Niš, New Belgrade, Novi Kneževac, Pančevo, Pirot, Savski Venac, Sombor, Užice, Voždovac, Vršac, Zaječar, Zemun, Zrenjanin, Zvezdara and the city of Belgrade.
