EnlargEUrope project launches a series of events across Serbia in the format Ask me Anything about the EU. The host of the first event will be the European Movement in Serbia – Leskovac, which will hold a conversation with Aleksandar Dedović from Alfa Center from Nikšić on Friday, May 24, 2019.
The format of the debate Ask me anything about … is suitable for approaching to the audience a certain person and topic, in this case, the process of European integration from the perspective of neighboring Montenegro, also the EU candidate country, which in the accession negotiations progressed more than Serbia.
Participants will have a unique opportunity in direct conversation with Aleksandar Dedović to ask questions and learn more about the negotiations and possibilities for Montenegro, together with Serbia, to become a member of the EU in 2025.
The event starts at 13:00 in the Great Hall of the Regional Chamber of Commerce (Stojana Ljubića 12). Srđan Dimitrijević from EMinS – Leskovac will take audience questions and moderate conversation with his interlocutor.
The goal of the EnlargEUrope project is to contribute to a better understanding and promotion of the importance of the enlargement of the European Union by linking different experiences of European integration of current citizens and future EU citizens. The project will last until 2020 and will cover various public events in Serbia and Europe and a promotional campaign on social networks.
Partners from five other countries are participating in the project – NGO ALFA Center from Montenegro, GONG from Croatia, Youth Association for the Promotion of Entrepreneurship from Lithuania, then the Romanian Academic Society and the Polish Foundation Robert Schuman. The project is co-financed from the EU’s Europe for Citizens Program.
