European Movement in Serbia and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung are organizing an online discussion under the title Migrant Crisis in the Light of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The debate is a part of the Serbia Post Corona serious and will take place via Zoom on December 1, 2020, 10:30 am.

What are Serbian and European migration policies? How is Greece – “Europe’s shield”, as Ursula von der Leyen called it – coping with the migrant crisis? Are we facing another migrant crisis and what has the Covid-19 pandemic revealed or concealed when it comes to migrants? These are some of the questions that our panelists will try to answer.

  • Nikola Kovačević, Lawyer and Human Rights Expert, A11* Initiative for Economic and Social Rights, Belgrade
  • Dimitris Bouras, Documentarist and Anthropologist, Athens
