Last Saturday, February 8, 2020, a Preparatory Meeting for Mentors was held in the new 10th jubilee cycle of the “Share Your Knowledge” Program. The preparatory meeting was held to acquaint the mentors with the concept and tools of mentoring, as well as the dynamics and methodology of the Program for the next 11 months.
Welcoming words and great gratitude for the private participation in the Program were sent by the project manager Zorana Milovanović on behalf of the European Movement in Serbia and long-term partners on the Program: Tijana Jugović on behalf of the United States Embassy and Tamara Jovanović on behalf of Erste Bank.
The mentors shared their previous experiences and knowledge in the field of mentoring and jointly concluded that there is no better opportunity to empower women and improve the position of women in society, than 1 on 1 mentoring work with joint activities of all mentoring couples, to gain additional knowledge in various fields. and building a strong women’s network. Mentors come from different areas of business and work and are ready to use their experience in working with mentors and provide them with support in planned professional and personal development. Great gratitude especially refers to the readiness of mentors to set aside time on a volunteer basis and dedicate themselves to continuous work with mentors for the next 10 months.
With the preparatory meeting for mentors, the adventure of the 10th cycle officially begins on the program Share your knowledge and the next 10 months opportunities for joint work and socializing will be organized in the form of 3 workshops, 2 round tables, 2 mentoring walks and 1 study visits.
